Welcome To United Way Fresno and Madera Counties!
United Way Fresno and Madera Counties (UWFM) brings resources together to address the most urgent issues the community faces. Through unique partnerships and approaches, UWFM mobilizes resources beyond the dollars that are pledged through their fund-raising efforts. Community partners often include schools, government policy makers, businesses, organized labor, financial institutions, voluntary and neighborhood associations, community development corporations, and the faith community.
So what does that really mean?
When you donate to United Way Fresno and Madera Counties, you have the power to choose where your money goes. You can designate to the areas of education, income, health or a community partner of your choosing.
If you choose to donate locally, 100% of your dollar stays right here in Fresno and Madera Counties.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life in our communities.
Our Vision: All families have access to a quality education that leads to a good job with enough income to support a family now through retirement. Families have access to health resources. These are the building block to a good life in Fresno County: Education, Income, and Health.
This December, Hmongstory 40 will be coming to Fresno, we are a proud supporter of this often forgotten part of history.
