Emergency Food and Shelter Program Phase 28

The Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP) is a Federal program administered by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and has been entrusted through the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act (PL 100-77) to supplement and expand ongoing efforts to provide shelter, food, and supportive services: for the nation s hungry, homeless, and people in economic crisis. Every year, FEMA awards qualifying jurisdictions and State Set-Aside Committees. Fresno County was awarded $991,350 for EFSP Phase 28 for the year 2010.

 

Fresno County Local Board for the Emergency Food and Shelter Program has awarded funds to the following organizations for Phase 28, calendar year 2010.
